Proposal seeks to decentralize attention to users of Banco de la Nación. Citizens form long lines at the bank to carry out transactions.
During the last few days, there have been long lines of citizens in the vicinity of the headquarters of the National bank in Juliaca (Fist) and, on February 28, it was possible to verify that a large number of users stayed overnight in said entity in order to carry out a procedure. Given this, the Provincial Municipality of San Román-Juliaca announced that made available to that banking institution three municipal agencies and the premises of the former mayor to decentralize attention.
The mayor of Juliaca, Oscar Caceres Rodriguezreported that he met this Tuesday with the administrator of this entity, Juan Antonio Amesquita Zegarraand sent him the proposal, considering that people, by forming huge queues in the inclement cold of the night in said city, put their health at risk.

“I have given him all the facilities and I have presented a letter to the manager of the Banco de la Nación to allow us, immediately, to open the agency that is in the camal, which had been denied by the Municipal Council on December 12, last year. I have made it available to him to open that agency and to also evaluate installing the Banco de la Nación agencies in the three headquarters of the municipal agencies, ”said the mayor.

According to the commune, the other municipal agencies are located in the Tambopata, Néstor Cáceres Velásquez and San Pablo urbanizations of that locality.
Cáceres specified that the excamal would already be implemented and would only need to install the computer system.
Faced with the mayor’s initiative, the administrator of the National bank in Juliaca, Juan Antonio Amesquitawould have answered that the proposal will be consulted at the main headquarters located in Lima and a response will be given to said municipality in the following days.
