The reference index for variable-rate mortgages rises for the fourteenth consecutive month and completes another record year-on-year increase with 386 basis points compared to February 2022.
Thus, the 12-month Euribor stood at 3.53% in February at its average price, 20 points more than in January (3.33%) and 386 basis points more than twelve months ago, when it was still trading negative. (-0.33%).
In just 14 months, since December 2021, the index has broken the barrier of 400 basis points of escalation.
