The Executive authorized the granting of a Extraordinary bonus of S / 70 for the formal workers of the public and private sectors with salaries of up to S / 2,000, as proposed by Prime Minister Mirtha Vásquez in his request for the vote of confidence on October 25 and announced by Pedro Castillo in his balance sheet of the hundred days of Government.
According to Emergency Decree No. 105-2021, published this last Sunday, November 14, the amount will be awarded in a single batch, that is, S / 210, “for the only time in favor of formal workers in the private sector.”
“The amount of the extraordinary bonus received by the worker does not alter the amount of labor compensation to which he is entitled, as well as the declaration, calculation and payment of labor benefits, taxes, contributions or contributions provided for in the legal system”, reads one of the paragraphs of the DU published in the newspaper El Peruano.
How many workers does the S / 70 bonus benefit?
Although initially it was said that it would reach 2.5 million private and public workers, the Republic was able to know that this economic support would reach about 3 million people, which would imply a fiscal cost of approximately S / 600 million.
The payment to the workers would be made through Essalud, an entity that will be in charge of transferring the financial support to the bank accounts of the beneficiary workers.
Sources close to Executive They indicated that those who will access this financial support must have been registered in the payroll in the months of July, August or September. In addition, it has no scope for those who belong to the training modalities.
Meanwhile, public servants must be registered in the AIRHSP computer application.
