Euskaraz irakurri: Sindikatuek beste greba egun bat deitu dute Osasunbidean, martxoaren 23an
The unions LAB, SAE, UGT, ELA and CCOO have called a new day of strike for March 23, Thursday, in Osasunbidea. The inter-union defends the “legitimization” that gives them “the incontestable support” of the mobilizations of February 15. Yesterday, the Navarra Medical Union called off the indefinite strike, after reaching an agreement with the Government.
In a statement, the unions declare their “absolute loss of confidence as the interlocutor of the current Director General of Health due to his null receptiveness to any demand that does not have to do with the medical groupthe evident classism of his proposals and his unequal treatment with respect to the union organizations”, for which they ask that “he does not hold dialogue with this strike Committee, when this occurs”.
The inter-union has criticized that the Administration only negotiates with the Medical Union, “even before the strike had been called, that is, outside any legitimate area of negotiation.” Likewise, it denounces that the Government “continues to close itself off from really negotiating the union demands”, which achieved a “success” on February 15, as they filled the streets of Pamplona.
They accuse the Executive of “cheating” throughout the legislature “alluding to legal impossibilities for any salary increase.” Precisely, “they have been shown to be false from the moment that it is going to increase the salary of medical staff, at a cost of thirteen million euros”.
“The Administration refuses to correct the numerous inequalities, to compensate a part of the workforce for the hours of their own time dedicated to training in order to offer a better public service, which instead does compensate other groups through a professional career”, they assert, to which they add that “it does not want to involve trade union organizations in the transformation of an organizational model that adequately structures and sizes the workforce.
