The head of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur), Luis Fernando Helguero, announced this morning that in order to counteract its economic impact, the result of the social conflict that has been affecting tourism, the Government will grant an economic subsidy to service providers. tourist services of the Inca Trail.

The senior official also said that the voucher would be channeled through the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion (MIDIS) based on information from the records of Mincetur (tour guides, mountain guides, artisans) and Sernanp (porters and cooks of the Inca Trail).
