President Pedro Castillo called on businessmen to build industry and invest in Peru, promising to respect the legal guarantees that ensure their operations in the national territory.
During the Reinstatement Session of the 2021 -2026 period of the Plenary of the National Council for Labor and Employment Promotion, the Head of State said that it is a moment in the history of the country to sit down and talk about the new needs of workers, as part of this process of economic reactivation.
“Through you I make a call to companies to invest in Peru. Here you have a government that will continue to deny what it was told in the campaign. We are going to guarantee legal personality and give legal guarantees to all entrepreneurs, ”Castillo emphasized.
In this sense, the president asked the heads of unions such as the Lima Chamber of Commerce (CCL) and the National Society of Industries (SNI) to organize, jointly with the Government, decentralized coordination tables.
“We want to make a call to the businessmen of the country. Let’s sit down to talk, not only in the framework of a National Labor Council, but also in a decentralized meeting, where a company is also present. It is necessary to sit down and talk with them ”, he remarked.
Finally, Castillo Terrones affirmed that his government will maintain open-door policies so that employers and workers, at all levels, can express their concerns or jointly design improvements for each of their sectors.
“To you, dear businessmen: when you like and want to talk, here we are. Let’s do it in any space, go to the Palace or to a ministry and, if a minister doesn’t listen to you, spread the word. We will make them serve them, as well as the workers of this country. This is a government for all ”, he concluded.
