Euskaraz irakurri: Satsek erizaintzako eta fisioterapiako greba deitu du Nafarroan otsailaren 28rako

The Satse union has called a strike of nursing and physiotherapy professionals for next February 28 and has accused the general director of Health, Carlos Artundo, of not including the proposals of the sector in the meeting of the General Board of Public Function. Likewise, he has criticized that the “verbal agreement” reached with Salud “has not been reflected in the proposals presented” in this space, and has indicated that he does not rule out continue with mobilizations “if they do not sit down to responsibly negotiate our proposals to put an end to our grievances and the worsening of our working conditions.”

This has been announced by the union’s regional secretary, Maria Jose Algarraat the end of a demonstration that has toured the streets of Pamplona this Saturday under the slogan ‘We want to take care of you with dignity’.

At its end, Algarra has read a manifesto in which he has explained that this protest “has never been linked to reaching agreements with the Administration; we simply wanted to show the weariness” of the nursing profession “over the last few years and months”.

He has assured that “the responsibility of caring for and caring for patients They are the ones that have avoided an absolute disaster in assistance during these years”. However, he has criticized that, “despite this effort, the different administrations they have not compensated the load and ballast that the health system has caused for nurses and physiotherapists” and “they have abused nursing capacity to doubtful limits”.

Thus, he has demanded that “all commitments made to the profession” are fulfilledand has claimed a change of model to replace the current one, “already obsolete, medicalized, excessively hospitable, incapable of responding to the massive aging of the population and the indiscriminate use of health services, the increase in diseases and the needs of the socio-health field” that is “abandoned in the present”.
