Withdrawal of CTS 2022: how can I have my money at 100% today?

The government of Pedro Castillo ordered that formal workers be able to withdraw their money to the 100% of your savings from your compensation for time of service (CTS) in order to pay for basic needs that were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and by the increase in prices.

How to free my money from the CTS at 100%?

If you are an employee of the formal sector and want to release your money from the CTS at 100% you must follow the following steps:

  • Check in which financial entity your CTS is deposited. If you don’t know where it is, you can check with your employer.
  • If you want to withdraw it personally, you can go to an ATM and have it automatically. You can also go to the window of the bank, savings bank or finance company where your CTS account is and request the withdrawal.
  • Likewise, you can do it virtually through the mobile banking of your financial institution. To do this, you must verify that your CTS account have available balance and make the transfer to a personal account.

When can I withdraw the savings in my CTS?

Through Law No. 31480enacted by President Pedro Castillo, since June 5, 2022 employees can make the request for disbursement of their CTS in their respective banks, savings banks or finance companies.

The regulations of this CTS release rule do not establish a withdrawal limit, so you can dispose of your savings in whole or in part as many times as you wish, always within the established period.

Until when can the CTS be withdrawn?

The law provides that formal workers with CTS savings may dispose of their money until December 31, 2023.

How do I know if I have CTS?

Currently, there are 18 financial entities that manage CTS savings, including banks, savings banks and finance companies.

To find out in which entity you have deposited this fund, you should check with your employer. And to find out what the balance is in your account, you can consult the bank, cashier or finance company virtually or by phone.
