Exchange rate in Peru: how much it is trading today, Saturday, November 13, 2021

The price of the dollar in Peru today, Saturday, November 13, is located at S / 4.0187, according to information from the Bloomberg portal. In the parallel market, the greenback is located at S / 4,015 for the purchase and S / 4,040 for the sale; while for the National Superintendency of Tax Administration (Sunat), the North American currency has a value of S / 4,016 for the purchase and S / 4,025 for the sale.

On the previous day, on Friday, November 12, the dollar closed with a price of S / 4.0190, according to the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP). This figure was lower than the opening figure, when it marked S / 4.0240. Banco de la Nación, on the other hand, quotes the price of the dollar at S / 3.9000 for purchase and S / 4.0600 for sale.

The president of the BCRP, Julio Velarde, announced that the Peruvian economy would grow this year by 13.2% if the production rate observed until August is maintained. Said calculation by Velarde would exceed by 1.3 percentage points the 11.9% estimated by the issuing entity in its latest inflation report.

“Such a strong monetary and fiscal stimulus package was applied that we are enjoying it now. It’s not just bounce, It is a consequence of the policy actions that were taken”Velarde explained.

In the economic sphere, the financial markets are attentive to the announcements of the Government of Pedro Castillo, especially its tax plans. The Minister of Economy, Pedro Francke, pointed out that the adjustment to property rental tax (currently 5%) will not increase the payment, but will reduce it.
