In the parallel market, the greenback is located at S / 4,015 for the purchase and S / 4,040 for the sale; while for the National Superintendency of Tax Administration (Sunat), the North American currency has a value of S / 4,016 for the purchase and S / 4,025 for the sale.
On the previous day, on Friday, November 12, the dollar closed with a price of S / 4.0190, according to the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP). This figure was lower than the opening figure, when it marked S / 4.0240. Banco de la Nación, on the other hand, quotes the price of the dollar at S / 3.9000 for purchase and S / 4.0600 for sale.
The president of the BCRP, Julio Velarde, announced that the Peruvian economy would grow this year by 13.2% if the production rate observed until August is maintained. Said calculation by Velarde would exceed by 1.3 percentage points the 11.9% estimated by the issuing entity in its latest inflation report.
