The Agency for the Promotion of Private Investment (Proinversión) reported that it has two important projects of Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) in its pipeline, for more than US$700 million, which aim to improve the quality of life of the population in La Libertad. These are the WWTP Trujillofor US$368 million, and the Enlace Huánuco-Tocache-Celendín-Trujillo electric power transmission project for US$411 million.
In this sense, the executive director of Proinversión, José Salardi, met with the regional governor of La Libertad, César Acuña, who promised to emphasize public-private investments such as PPPs, projects in assets and works for taxes.
Among the projects is the modernization of the Trujillo and Chepén Wastewater Treatment Plant for US$368 million and will benefit more than one million inhabitants.
