Dollar in Peru: exchange rate closed at S / 4.0190 this Thursday, November 11

The price of the dollar closed lower and stood at S / 4.0190 in operations on Thursday, November 11. The greenback started the day at S / 4.0246 as reported by the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP). The currency depreciated by 0.2% compared to the close of last Wednesday, November 10, when it stood at S / 4.0270.

The purchase in the parallel market was located at S / 4.01 and the sale at S / 4.04. Regarding the price of the interbank dollar, it stands at the purchase of S / 4,026 and the sale of S / 4,034 in the Banco de Crédito del Perú (BCP). Likewise, it accumulates a gain of 33.33% against the sun so far in 2021 after closing at S / 3,619 in 2020.

This occurs while the president of the Central Reserve Bank (BCRP), Julio Velarde, announced that the Peruvian economy would grow by 13.2%. Likewise, Velarde emphasized that only Chile surpasses Peru in growth indicators, but in any case better than other countries in the region such as Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico.
