Thus, the person who wants to carry out this procedure in person must check what day they can go to the SRI:
- On Mondays -in the office- RUC processes of people whose ninth digit of the ID is 0, 1, 2 and 9 are attended.
- Tuesdays for the digits 1, 2, 3 and 4.
- Wednesdays 3, 4, 5 and 6.
- Thursdays 5, 6, 7 and 8.
- On Fridays 7, 8, 9 and 0.
If the day of the service falls on a holiday, the taxpayer can visit that week without any day restriction, explained the SRI. The schedule does not apply to priority groups.
This calendar established by the entity has the objective of improving the attention to those who prefer to carry out this procedure in person. However, this process can also be carried out virtually through the institutional portal www.sri.gob.ec.
On the SRI page you can consult the RUC, register, update your information and obtain certificates, for this you must have a password that is obtained online.
Natural persons who carry out any economic activity are obliged to register with the RUC, issue and deliver sales receipts authorized by the SRI for all their transactions and submit tax returns according to their economic activity.

SRI brigades
