In the regions of Peru, a total of 1.1 million formal jobswhich represent 27.8% of formal employment, are at risk due to the demonstrations that have been taking place in the country, reported the Chamber of Commerce of Lima (CCL).
Among the sectors most affected are the Miner (52.6%), Agriculture (51%), Manufacturing (32.3%), Construction (31%), Trade (22.5%) Y Services (21.6%).
Likewise, the business union indicated that the conflicts in different regions (Amazonas, Áncash, Apurímac, Arequipa, Ayacucho, Cusco, Huánuco, Ica, La Libertad, Madre de Dios, Moquegua, Puno, San Martín, Tacna and Ucayali) will affect the exports, an item that in January of this year reached US$ 5,298 million.

Along these lines, in Ica, 36% of what is exported corresponds to fresh grapes; in Ancash and Arequipa, 66% are copper concentrations in each of the regions; in La Libertad, 43% of exports are raw gold; in Moquegua, 53% are refined copper cathodes; and in Apurímac, 93% of the total is copper concentrate.
The CCL also added that the mobilizations are affecting public investment that amounts to S/ 71.3 million. That is why the national government stops investing S/ 19.7 million; regional governments, approximately S/ 14.6 million; and local governments, S/ 37.0 million.
