New function of the app allows you to directly pay for gas, telephone and cable bills, as well as catalog purchases.

After updating to allow the payment of various services, the Yape application assured that it will benefit its 12 million users nationwide.

It is worth noting that, in principle, there are 11 companies that are linked to Yape so that their clients can directly remedy their debts: Bitel, DirecTV and Entel (telecommunications); Cálidda and Quavii (natural gas); Electrocentro, Enel, Enosa, Ensa and Hidrandina (electricity), and Yanbal (sale by catalog).

Rufino Arribas, leader of Yape, stresses that at least 40 million transactions will be made with this new payment mechanism.

“In the year, we also hope to add more allies to promote this service and allow more yaperos to have the confidence to make their payments at any time and place,” he added.

How will services be paid for in Yape?

Users must enter the main menu of the application in the upper left.

Remember that each service requires a code that can be from a supply, cell or customer number.

By using this service, recurring payments will be automatically recorded to save you time on the next payment. According to Yape, the means of payment can be accessed even with a Yape account only with ID.

Other services offered by the app are mobile recharges, the payment button for Internet payments, money transfers, investing your money in tyba from S/20, microcredits of up to S/200 subject to conditions, and Yape Promos .
