To be favored by the readjustment, pensioners must have reached 65 years of age or older, as of December 31, 2022.
The Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) ordered the increase in S/35 per month from January 2023 to the pensions received by the beneficiaries of the Decree Law No. 20530who have reached sixty-five years of age or older, as of December 31, 2022, whose annualized value does not exceed the amount of twenty-eight Tax Units (UIT).
The Supreme Decree No. 007-2023-EF published this Friday in El Peruano specifies that in no case, the annualized value of the pensions after the readjustment, which is defined as the sum of the readjusted pensions, additional pensions, bonuses or bonuses , bonus for schooling and any other concept that is made available to the pensioner in the year, can exceed the limit of twenty-eight annual UIT. Likewise, it indicates that in the event of receiving more than one pension, the readjustment is made on the pension with the highest amount.
The General Directorate of Fiscal Management of Human Resources proceeds, ex officio, to update the new amount of the readjustment in the Computer Application for the Centralized Registry of Payrolls and Data of Public Sector Human Resources (AIRHSP).
The only final complementary provision of the legal device indicates that payment of the increase of S/35 soles will be made from the date of entry into force of this supreme decree. The entities regularize the payment of the readjustment corresponding to January 2023, together with the payment of pensions corresponding to next February.
