What is ‘Verifica tu Chamba’?
‘Verifica tu Chamba’ is an application that is hosted on the Sunafil website, which informs users whether or not they were registered in their employer’s payroll, just by entering their data and those of the company where they work .
In case the company is at fault, Sunafil will send it an alert, indicating that it has been detected that its workers are in an informal condition; and urges them to register them. These alerts are confidential, so there is no possible retaliation towards workers.
It should be noted that before the implementation of ‘Verifica tu Chamba’, the largest number of formalized employees occurred through the control actions.
According to the Labor Inspection Computer System, in 2019 a total of 142,951 were registered on the payroll; while, in 2020, 102 thousand 311.
