The National Superintendency of Customs and Tax Administration (Sunat) reported that taxpayers can create secondary users of their SOL key to delegate to other people the management of specific procedures on their behalf without giving them access to all their tax information.

It should be noted that the SOL key is essential to carry out tax and customs procedures. In addition, if the taxpayer has the need to delegate its execution to several people (be they workers or third parties), you can create secondary users.

Steps to generate secondary users

In case you want to generate secondary users of the SOL key, you must follow the following steps:

• You must enter “Sunat online operations”.
• In “Direct access”, locate and select the option “User administration”, and then the “Create user” button.
• Enter the type and number of the secondary user’s identity document. Next, you must enter the username and password that the secondary user will use and press the “next” button.
• The screen that appears will verify the data of the secondary user. If correct, the profiles will be assigned.
• After completing this step, the “Profile Assignment” will be displayed.
• The system will request to verify the profiles and / or options that have been authorized for the secondary user. If they are correct, it is saved, which completes the registration process for the new secondary user.
