Euskaraz irakurri: Inposizioa alde batera utzi eta negoziazioari berriro ekiteko deia egin diote sindikatuek Osakidetzari
SATSE, ELA, LAB, CCOO, UGT and ESK have asked Osakidetza and the Department of Health to “abandon immobility and the path of imposition and propaganda” and recover dialogue to negotiate “structural and far-reaching solutions to strengthen Basque public health”.
The unions have carried out demonstrations in San Sebastián, Bilbao and Vitoria-gasteiz within the strike day called this Monday in the Specialized Attention and the Mental Health Network and have highlighted that the follow-up is being “broad” at the care levels convened despite the “abusive” minimum services.
As they have pointed out, “in many services, they are operating exclusively with the minimum services” and, in others, such as the operating rooms of the Zumarraga Hospital, Mendaro or the local surgery operating rooms of the San Eloy Hospital, remain closed due to the effect of the strike “.
Among other issues, the unions have highlighted what happened at the Sectoral Table last week, where Osakidetza refused to end a temporary rate that is around 58% and that affects more than 24,000 workers of the current workforce.
Osakidetza, for its part, has estimated the strike at 3.27%. The Department of Health has indicated that unemployment has had a greater response in Bizkaia (3.59%). In Gipuzkoa they were supported by 3.15% of the workforce and in Álava by 2.6%.
By professional categories, 1.42% of the medical staff and 3.48% of the nursing staff have responded to the trade union call. In the rest of the categories, the percentage of follow-up of the strike rises to 4.59%.
The Basque Government does not understand that, “in this situation, the strike is resorted to”
The Basque Government does not understand that “in this situation, the strike is resorted to” in Osakidetza and has appealed to the unions for dialogue because “it is time to, little by little, channel the existing problems”.
In an interview granted to Radio Euskadi, the spokesman for the Basque Government, Bingen Zupiria He has assured that the Minister of Health, Gotzone Sagardui, “is making a permanent effort to summon the unions to the dialogue tables between the Department of Health and Osakidetza, and the invitation is permanent”.
