Women Economic Forum 2021 will be held in Ecuador

The world’s largest global chamber of women is made up of more than 250,000 members in 150 countries.

Ecuador will host the Women Economic Forum, the world’s largest global chamber of women, which is made up of more than 250,000 members in 150 countries.

The virtual event will be held on November 11 in alliance with the organization of Attributes and All Ladies League, a multinational movement that connects women across borders.

There will be talks by personalities such as Harbeen Arora, a woman among the 100 most emblematic people in the world; Jossep Altmman, former First Lady of Costa Rica and Flacso regional secretary; Rita Mishaan, winner of the award in France; Nuria Vilanova, president of the Alianza por Iberoamérica Business Council (CEAPI); Yanire Braña, recognized by Forbes as one of the 60 TOP women in the legal sector; and Iraxte Gómez, the Spanish voice for Iphone SIRI.

They will share experiences to continue transforming ecosystems, making known the initiatives that seek economic progress and the inclusion of women, leaving as learning best practices, reflections and connections.

The meeting includes topics such as business, politics, leadership, gender equality and sustainability.

The event is expected to have an impact of 88,000 participants, more than 19 countries, 60 companies, seven public sector institutions, four international cooperation actors, six NGOs, four business schools, three sports unions, three personalities who are making history. , civil society associations, foundations, corporations, entrepreneurs and writers.

“Our purpose is the integration of the public, private and third level sectors, becoming an icon for our country. WEF Ecuador will be the 54th chapter of those that take place around the world. Our main theme is to reaffirm, emphasize and recognize the inclusion of women in the economy ”, says Catalina Cajías, director of the Women Economic Forum.

Cajías is the first Ecuadorian to arrive at the WEF in India and after leading several delegations such as Ecuador, Costa Rica and Spain in different forums around the world.

It claims to be committed to leadership, inclusion and gender equity. It focuses on initiatives for sustainable human development, promoting new growth actions in international connection.

Meanwhile, WEF Ecuador will be made up of a Board Director with influential leaders, seeking to mobilize the participation of the business and entrepreneurial community, professionals from the management line and others. (I)
