They maintain the mobilizations in the OSI of Donostialdea awaiting the concretions of Osakidetza

Gathered in assembly, they have decided to wait for Osakidetza to make progress this week on the principles of agreement obtained at the meeting last Wednesday.

The heads of the OSI service in Donostialdea have decided to maintain the mobilizations in the assembly that they held this morning at the Donostia Hospital. In the same, it has been decided to wait for the general management of Osakidetza to advance in the development of the principles of agreement obtained in the meeting last week.

As explained by Dr. Adolfo López de Munain, said meeting took place in good spirits and it was possible to verify that there was a principle of verbal agreement regarding the diagnosis and possible solutions in most of the points to be discussed. However, in this morning’s assembly it has been decided to wait for Osakidetza to sign the minutes that include the agreements reached to definitively suspend the mobilizations.

The principles of agreement referred to the connection of the Oncology at OSI Donostialdea, the solution of the lack of assistance that can be derived from the lack of profiles of the OPE and modifications in the scales of merits, among others.

Likewise, they recognize that solving some of the points will take months of work and, in this sense, they have approved in assembly to create three commissions that will be dedicated to different areas: human resources, whose objective is to guarantee the necessary personnel in the OR IF; the quality one, which will analyze the improvement in patient care, and the clinical care one, which will be in charge of working on future strategies.

The heads of service believe that with the formation of these three commissions a more transversal structure will be achieved.
