Barcelona SC beat Herediano 3-2 in the second friendly of their pre-season tour in the United States

Barcelona SC won the so-called Pacific Series by defeating Herediano, from Costa Rica, 3-2, in a match played this Saturday at the FIU Soccer Stadium in Miami (Florida).

The Argentine Jonatan Bauman (minute 6) and the Ecuadorians Fidel Martínez (22) and Jhon Jairo Cifuente (50) scored the goals for the yellow team.

The team led by Fabián Bustos won easily and without problems until two penalties were awarded to the Costa Rican team. Yendrick Ruíz (79) and Anthony Contreras (85) narrowed the gap.

Barcelona SC continues its pre-season tour of the United States on the right foot, which will continue next Wednesday, January 25, with the third and final friendly in the city of Dallas (Texas) facing local FC Dallas.

Barcelona SC: Javier Burrai, Pedro Velasco, Joshué Quiñónez, Carlos Rodríguez, Segundo Portocarrero, Bruno Piñatares, Leonai Souza, Cristian Ortiz, Adonis Preciado, Fidel Martínez and Jonatan Bauman.

At the change they entered: Luca Sosa for J. Quiñónez, Jordan Morán for Velasco, Mario Pineida for Preciado, Janner Corozo for Ortiz, John Jairo Cifuente for Bauman and the rookie Agustín Rodríguez for Martínez.

Herediano took the field with Bryan Segura, Fuller, González, Basulto, Salazar, López, Brenes, Gerson Torres, Méndez, Godínez and Contreras.

“Bryan Segura and Gerson Torres were the figures for Herediano in the first half, the Florense goalkeeper had great interventions, while the red and yellow midfielder proposed various plays on offense,” the Costa Rican club highlighted on its official website.
