Huancavelica: more than 2,000 producers benefited from the installation of 160 canopies and 275 sheds

During his official visit to the Sachapite community, located in the Yauli district, province of Huancavelica, the executive director of Agrorural, Rogelio Huamaní, announced that in the Huancavelica region 275 sheds are being installed to guarantee the protection of livestock and 160 phytotoldos for the production of vegetables and tubers, benefiting more than 2,000 producers that make up 435 families that support themselves from family farming.

Rogelio Huamaní reported that these interventions are being developed within the framework of the second agrarian reform in five provinces of the region Huancavelica (Acobamba, Angaraes, Castrovirreyna, Huancavelica and Huaytara). Regarding the installation of the sheds, there are 14 districts of these provinces that are being benefited, while in the case of the canopies, there are 13 districts in which they are being installed. “Social development and quality of life are fundamental goals of this type of investment within the framework of the second agrarian reform”Stated the highest authority of AGRORURAL, in the delivery of five canopies and 25 sheds that he made in Sachapite.

Likewise, the executive director of AGRORURAL reported that in the coming days he will continue to deliver the fitotoldos that are already 100% installed, as well as the sheds that are now ready to operate. Both the installation of canopies and sheds are given as part of the Multisectoral Plan for Frost and Cold 2021 and as execution of the actions carried out by the Budget Program 0068 “Reduction of Vulnerability”.

It should be noted that during his visit to the Huancavelica region, the executive director of Agrorural, Rogelio HuamaníHe also put on his agenda a meeting with the regional governor and the mayors of the provincial municipalities, highlighting the importance of AGRORURAL of working with local governments, articulating actions for the benefit of agriculture.
