The Minister of Foreign Relations, Ana Cecilia Gervasi, during her participation in the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerlandinvited the foreign investors to continue trusting in the macroeconomic soundness that Peru maintainssince our country is a reliable partner and aims to continue growing.
“There are multiple opportunities in the country that can be taken advantage of,” said the chancellor at an event on new political changes in Latin America. Likewise, he indicated that the countries should take advantage of the crisis that is presented to reaffirm the common values of cooperation and solidarity shared by the economies that distinguish them as a region.
Foreign Minister Gervasi also highlighted the current government’s commitment to the population so that growth is more equitable. He stressed the importance of implementing “new social pacts” that strengthen the role of the State to move towards a more just society.
For his part, the owner of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), Alex Contreras, participated in the discussion “The future of growth”, together with ministers and leaders of the private sector who share the vision of a development agenda and the challenge of caring for the environment.
Likewise, the Minister of Economy spoke with the new president of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), Ilan Goldfajn, to promote Peru’s economic reactivation agenda and promote connectivity projects. In addition, he held meetings with investors from various economic sectors, with whom he discussed the macroeconomic strengths that our country maintains.
