The president of the Federation of Entrepreneurs of Gamarra, Edward Raymundo, stated that he hopes that the Con Punche Peru initiative of the head of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Alex Contreras, becomes a reality, as well as the measures included in the Con Punche Productive plan. “We look forward to (the execution of measures) to continue generating work for more Peruvians,” emphasized Raymundo.

The union representative regretted that the Christmas campaign did not have the expected results. He also warned that Gamarra is financially harmed due to unfair competition from street vendors, and that is why they request the new mayor of La Victoria, Rubén Cano, remove the informal merchants who occupy the streets arbitrarily.

Finally, Raymundo stated that he hopes that the announced measures will have positive effects on the school campaignwhich for Gamarra is already starting.
