The Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion (Midis) approved this Monday, January 16, the 2023 payment schedule of the National Solidarity Assistance Program Pensión 65. In this way, the institution ordered that the corresponding actions be carried out, in order to guarantee the due supervision and monitoring of compliance with the dates of deposits towards the beneficiaries.
Pensión 65 is a program whose purpose is to protect adults over 65 years of age who lack the basic conditions for their maintenance. For it, They are granted an economic subsidy of S/250 every two months so that their needs are met.
This is the schedule that the Midi approved, which must be fulfilled this year. According to the calendar, the first payment date at the agency will be February 20 and March 20 for benefits that receive economic support through the value transport company modality (TVS).

Additional subsidy for social programs
Due to high inflation, the Executive power authorized Midis to grant, exceptionally, an extraordinary additional subsidy of S/200, S/250 and S/300, in favor of the poor and/or extremely poor people, users of the Juntos, Pensión 65 and Contigo social programs, respectively, to mitigate the effects of price increases in the basic food basket.
The extraordinary additional subsidy will be awarded to the 1.4 million users of the Juntos, Pensión 65 and Contigo social programs who receive the corresponding subsidies from the aforementioned programs as of December 2022. For said delivery, the Executive power authorized a transfer of items in the public sector budget for fiscal year 2023, up to the sum of S/329 million.
