More than 10,000 Mivivienda credits were delivered as of October of this year

The Vice Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, Rodolfo Santa María Razzeto, highlighted the historical record reached by the Mivivienda Fund, which last October managed to place 2,085 Mivivienda loans, with a investment of 295 million soles, being the highest figure obtained since the creation of this entity.

“This has been possible thanks to the efforts of the Ministry of Housing, together with the Presidency of the Republic and the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), who obtained additional resources to help families supplement their savings and credit, to access a home through the Mivivienda loan and the program Own Roof“Said the official.

With the achievement reached in October, Miviviendas loans placed in the year amount to 10,375, which has required an investment of 1,419 million soles. The Executive’s goal is to disburse about 12,500 Mivivienda loans by the end of the year.

Housing supply

The vice minister also reported that, at the national level, there is an available supply of 73,639 homes that can be accessed through the Nuevo Crédito Mivivienda or the Family Housing Bonus of the Techo Propio program in the New Home Acquisition modality.

Given this, the vice minister invited citizens to seek information on social housing programs. It was also to visit the headquarters of Vitrina Inmobiliaria, the main information center on housing bonds and programs of the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS), which this week resumed its face-to-face service.

“There are people who think that they will not be able to access social housing, but when they come here, with the explanation of our advisers, they realize that they can find an ideal home for them.
