Through an important event in the Superintendency of the Stock Market (SMV), the arrival of Carlos Edgar Vives Suarez to the presidency of the board of Petroperú, after a session of the General Meeting of Shareholders.
It is worth noting that said official previously held the position of vice president during the administration of Humberto Campodónico, and in recent weeks he managed the reins of the state oil company on an interim basis.

Vives Suárez will begin his work as Chairman of the Board of Petroperú from this Monday, January 9, and will also maintain his status as an independent director.
Pedro Chira Fernández was also appointed as a new member of the board of directors of the first State company.
The rest of the board is made up of Edmundo Lizarzaburu Bolaños, Antonio Manosalva Alarcón, Víctor Murillo Huamán and José Andrés Olivares Canchari.
