Between January 9 and 13, requests for the release of withdrawal funds will be received

As part of the plan With Punche Peru Announced by the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) to reactivate the economy, the National Superintendency of Customs and Tax Administration (Sunat) approved an exceptional procedure so that taxpayers with a balance in their withdrawal accounts can request the release of these funds to use those resources in their business activities.

In accordance with Superintendency Resolution No. 02-2023/Sunat, published in the official newspaper El Peruano, in order to request the free disposal of deduction amounts, the following must be taken into consideration: taxpayers whose monthly returns of the tax periods from November 2021 to October 2022 would have had income of up to 1,700 UIT.

The application is submitted only once between January 9 and 13, 2023 through Sunat Online Operations, this includes the accumulated balance in the account until January 4, 2023.

When the interested party is the holder of both a conventional account and a special one – IVAP, the request only includes the accumulated balance in the first. However, if the taxpayer is only from the second, the request is about the latter.

Through the withdrawal system, funds are generated for the payment of taxes collected by the Sunat through deposits that must be made in the accounts that they have enabled in the Banco de la Nación.

• Verify that your Interbank Account Code (CCI) is active.
• The account payment is the fastest and most direct option to access the release of funds.
• If you choose a different option, you have a maximum period of 15 business days following the notification to make the collection of the released amount effective.
