Mivivienda Fund indicates that it has been managing the recovery of pending guarantees

After the Comptroller General of the Republic detected economic damage valued at S/41,089,762 against the Mivivienda Fund due to non-execution of expired guarantees for the delivery of Family Housing Bonds (BFH) of the program own roof and due to non-compliance in the delivery of social interest housing that was going to be built with said subsidies, the entity issued a statement to clarify what happened.

According to the Mivivienda Fund, Once this fact was identified, the actions that have made it possible to ensure that the purpose of the BFH is fulfilled were adopted. that are subject to guarantee, through: the accreditation of the construction and delivery of the properties to the beneficiary families; renewal of bonds; and the recovery of these in the corresponding cases.

Likewise, it explained that the guarantees (accessory obligations) of the disbursements of the BFH constituted by letters of guarantee, to which reference is made, have been reduced by the FMV as follows:

1. S/1,100,000 was recovered for direct collection.

2. Guarantees were renewed and released with the accreditation of the construction and delivery of the houses for a total of S/38,500,000.

“Regarding the guarantees pending payment, the FMV has been managing the corresponding actions in order to recover the remaining amounts,” the entity concluded.
