Meanwhile, among the projects that the firm will develop include strengthening penetration in more non-capital cities within the countries where it operates, developing strategic points in the city such as airports and continuing to work on the decarbonization of the fleet.

“At Cabify we believe that the Latin American markets still have great development potential in terms of mobility. After more than ten years of operation, we are firmly established in the region and we continue working to be a safe, quality and sustainable mobility option, always ensuring the development of the cities and countries in which we operate”, indicated Ignacio Gutiérrez. , Cabify Regional Manager for Latin America.

Regarding investments, the firm recalled that during the last five years it has invested close to $40 million in R+D+I (research, development and innovation), betting on different functionalities and services that adapt to the different needs of the user and of the planet.

A good part of this investment has been destined to face the great challenge of the insecurity that exists in the cities of Latin America. The platform, in addition to the functionalities visible in the application, has more than 20 processes and tools linked to the security of its users.

These include the validation of documents for driver users, the protection of user data, the periodic inspection of vehicles, accident insurance and the 24/7 support center available via app, website and social networks. The company recently also announced an alliance with Incode adding the best technology in biometrics and artificial intelligence in identity validation processes. (YO)
