The Basque Government will once again bear the cost of half of the subsidy from the town halls and councils to the public transport next year, as it has been doing since September.
Thus, local operators will only have to take charge of only 10% of the discounts, since the other 10% will be assumed by the Basque Executive.

This is one of the anti-crisis measures announced this Tuesday by the Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez. In total, the central Executive will allocate 380 million euros for the reduction of this 30% in the price of public transport dependent on the autonomies and local entities.
The Basque Government, as it has been doing this year, will bear 10% of the costa measure that he estimates will mean a disbursement of about 12 million euros for the first half of the year.
