How to consult and request my IESS reserve funds

If you are an active member, you must have at least 36 monthly contributions or more.

The reserve fund is a benefit that the employee who is affiliated with social security has and who has provided his service for more than one year to the same employer.

It corresponds to 8.33% of the contribution remuneration and can be accumulated directly at the Ecuadorian Social Security Institute (IESS) or paid monthly.

In order to request the withdrawal at the IESS, it is required to have accumulated 36 deposits. However, terminated members over 60 with 40 years of service or retirees can submit applications regardless of the number of contributions. Those who do not accumulate it see it reflected in their pay roles.
