Volkswagen Navarra will suspend its production on Monday, January 9 and Tuesday, January 10 as a result of the lack of parts due to the unstable situation in the supply of semiconductors, so it will not return to activity until the 11th. Tomorrow begins the period for Christmas holidays at the factory.
As reported by the company through an announcement to the workforce, “there will be no production on January 9 and 10” both of which are considered industrial days, although it has confirmed that “work will be carried out as planned in the three shifts of the days 11, 12 and 13” of January.
The closure, explained the Landaben factory, is explained by “the lack of parts caused by the unstable situation in the supply of semiconductors”.
In this way, the workers will see the break that begins tomorrow on the occasion of their Christmas holidays extended and that was scheduled to last until Sunday, January 8.
