The Christmas season brings new food products to the national market. This is the case of Negocios Industriales Real (Nirsa) that at the end of this year, in its Alimentos Real line, will market its Real Mangoes product for the first time in Ecuador, which will be available in different self-service stores nationwide during the December festivities.
The product that was previously only intended for export, with the European Union and the United States as its destination, will be marketed as natural fruit, since the mango will be harvested and sent to the points of sale. This seasonal fruit does not go through refrigerators or forced ripening processes, in this way it is possible to guarantee its freshness by offering the product from the tree to the table of consumers, indicates the brand.

“This is our contribution to the Ecuadorian table for this season, a premium quality product, from the land of Guayas. Over the next few weeks, consumers will be able to enjoy a mango distinguished by its flavor and nutritional quality,” says Victoria Aguirre, International Sales Manager at Nirsa, which officially launched its Keitt Harvest 2022 mango, a product that has been grown in the company’s farms in the province of Guayas.
Aguirre explains that the Keitt mango variety originates from Florida and is considered one of the most attractive for extra-premium mango consumers internationally.

Experts describe the flavor of the fruit as unmatched, with less sugar content, aromatic, creamy on the palate, firm pulp, small seed, and juicy texture. It is very appreciated in the kitchen gourmet for the preparation of both sweet and savory dishes. Some of the preparations in which it is used are ceviches, salads, sauces, desserts, smoothies, ice creams, granitas, cocktails and fresh fruit on the table. (YO)
