Volkswagen graduated, in its University program, its first class of professionals in Ecuador

After successfully completing the modules contemplated within the program, Volkswagen University graduated the first class of professional advisors and technicians from the company, an outstanding group of 53 collaborators from the Sales and After-sales areas. This project, promoted by Volkswagen Ecuador to enhance staff knowledge regarding the company’s best practices, standards and processes, is free for workers to access, and is available to advisors, bosses, managers and technicians.

Pamela Jiménez, Volkswagen Dealer Development Manager, pointed out that in this first cycle, 38 collaborators from the Sales area and 15 from the After Sales area graduated, who work in the brand’s dealer network in different parts of the country, such as Quito, Guayaquil, Ibarra, Ambato, Riobamba, Cuenca, Loja and Manta.

He added that Volkswagen professional advisers (APV) were certified with 96% performance, and Volkswagen professional technicians (TPV) with 93%, which demonstrates the excellence in their performance throughout the courses received.

Tamia Espinosa de los Monteros, manager of Agencia en Automotores de la Sierra SA, one of the Volkswagen dealers, was recognized as the best graduate of this first promotion.

“This program has injected the Volkswagen DNA into me (…), I thank the brand for giving us great happiness and for appreciating the team they have,” he said during the graduation ceremony,” said the executive.

At the moment, a new cycle of Volkswagen University has begun, for which the call was extended to the Financing, Quality and Marketing areas of the dealers, and in general, to all the staff of Impoventura CA

In addition, the company’s suppliers, such as advertising agencies and contact centers, were invited to participate because they have direct contact with their customers. “We are all representatives of the brand at some point in the chain and we have the responsibility to fulfill our role in the best way to guarantee the best experience for users,” said Jiménez.
