1623 people in Hego Euskal Herria have found work in October

The number of people registered at the offices of the State Public Employment Service (SEPE) has decreased by 1623 people in Hego Euskal HerriaTherefore, the total number of unemployed people is 150,557. They are 26,822 less than in October 2020.

In the Basque Autonomous Community there was in october 1063 fewer unemployed people that in September, that is, a 0,89 % less. 118,429 people add up, even so, the list of unemployed people in the CAV, according to data published today by the Spanish Ministry of Labor.

Compared to October 2020, 20 042 fewer unemployed people are counted in the CAV, which represents a drop of 14.47%. Unemployment falls more among women (-779) than among men (-284), although in the annual relation the decrease in unemployment is higher among men (-11 246) than among women (-8 796).

By province, unemployment fell in Álava by 0.88%, with 178 fewer unemployed people than in September, so that the number of unemployed rose to 19,957. In Gipuzkoa it fell by 1.62%, with 510 people fewer stops, amounting, even to 30,917 people. In Bizkaia it fell by 0.55%, with 375 fewer people unemployed and a total of 67,555 unemployed people.

Navarra, has registered in october 560 fewer people on the unemployment lists, a 1.71% decrease which places the total number of unemployed people at 32 128

Compared with October 2020, Navarra has been the territory in which unemployment has decreased the most, 17.48% (-6780), Álava has registered a relative decrease of 17.22% in the unemployment figure (-4152 ), followed by Gipuzkoa with a decrease of 15.90% (-5844) and Bizkaia with a fall of 12.95% (-10 046).
