The turnover of industry in the Basque Country grew by 45.3% in June compared to the same month of the previous year, which represents biggest increase of this 2022.
According to the data provided this Thursday by the National Institute of Statistics (INE), this increase places the Basque Country as the third autonomous community with the highest year-on-year growth of the industrial turnover.
In the accumulated from January to June, the Basque industry has achieved an increase in its turnover of 30.3% compared to the same period in 2021.
In January, the industry of the Basque Country achieved a 29.5% increase in its turnover compared to the same month of 2021, in February the increase was 21.3%, in March it stood at 14.6% and in April it rose to 28.5%, while in May it rose to 41.3% and in June the growth was 45.3%.
In Spainindustrial turnover in June rose 31.7% compared to the same month in 2021 and so far this year the increase has been 24%.
Breaking down the data by autonomous communities, the turnover in June rose in all the autonomous communities. The largest year-on-year increases were registered in Murcia (61.7%), Comunitat Valenciana (45.5%) and Euskadi (45.3%). Minors in the Canary Islands (15.5%), La Rioja (17.4%) and Castilla y León (20%).
