PSOE and Podemos will present and register this Thursday a bill of the new banking and energy taxes.
The proposal foresees applying charges to the companies that apply the tax levy to the final price of the clients. Therefore, it will no longer be consumers who pay the new tax applied to large companies.
Two new taxes will be presented in the Congress of Deputies. The first will be oriented to banking, since the tax burden will be applied to income on interest and commissions.
The second tax will be directed at energy companies with profits greater than 1,000 million euros, such as Repsol, Endesa and Iberdrola.
This last company announced this Wednesday that it had obtained a net profit of 2,075 million euros in the first half of the year.
