This morning the Congress of the Republic promulgated the law that promotes the employment of young technicians and professionals in the public sector. Thus, it was arranged that people up to 29 years of age who apply to State entities will receive additional points during the interview stage.
“Public administration entities deliver a 10% bonus at the personal interview stage of public merit contests that call for technical and professional applicants who are 29 years of age or older”, establishes the law published in the official newspaper El Peruano.
Likewise, applicants who have work experience in the public sector are increased by one percentage point for each year of services rendered, up to a maximum of three points, on the final score. For these purposes, pre-professional and professional practices in the State are also considered.
The Executive Branch must approve the regulatory provisions for the application of the law within a maximum period of 30 business days counted from the day after it becomes effective.
